How to make your own
  • Cardstock 11 1/2" x 7 1/4" scored on long side @ 1/2", 4",5",6",9 1/2" & 10 1/2" turn cardstock and score short side @1" & 6"
  • Fold all score lines. On the 2 side bits measure 1" up from the bottom score line with a grey lead then score from that mark to the corners to form triangles (this will be for the side gussets)
  • The 1" fold along the long side is then folded down, its best to punch the holes for the handles now before assembling, but make sure they are in the same place on the front & back.
  • Trim the bottom corner off along the 1/2" side this will form the tab.Cut up to score in line in 3 places, see image below for reference.
  • Add sticky strip or a good strong tape along the 1/2" tab on the front side. Now construct your bag.
  • For extra reinforcement I added a 3 1/14" x 1 7/8" bit of heavy cardstock inside the bottom of the bag, you can glue in place if you like.
  • For the handles cut 2 bits of ribbon 35 cm long and tie off one end with a double knot, thread through the holes and tie off again.

Pillow box die-perfect for holding single wrapped mars & cadbury chocolates.

Candy wrapper die bon bon

Mini cards 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"- works really well with the images from the dsp

Matching envelopes to go with the cards

To make envelopes-you need a 6" x 6" dsp scored @ 2 3/4" on all four sides using the diagonal plate on the score board.fold all score lines, cut the triangle bits from all sides. Round one point and make this the flap, glue the sides & bottom and your done.

Few Cards and a scrap page for Dad's day

Scrapbook page for Father's day. Using new stamp set called clockworks from new catalogue that goes live on Saturday.

Birthday Card for Zane, M & M guys so cute- made with the circle #2 die, 3/4" circle & bity circle punches, word window punch, new apothecary accents framelits dies and the just perfect alphabet. Gloves template used.

Card for Dazza but in blue.

Father's day card using the retiring DSP Nursery Nest. Background pattern made with the simply scored board scoring every 1/2" then lightly inking with craft white ink.

All purpose card made as above but without the inking, see the different effect? I can't decide which looks better!

Delicate Doilies Meets Rosette

Inspired by this months Demo only impressions newsletter I made couple of cards using the Delicate Doilies stamp set in Melon Mambo to mach my 1/2" scallop dots ribbon.

The rosette was easy peasy to make with the new simply scored tool, just cut the designer series paper to 1" and score at every 1/4" and accordian fold, join the ends together, lay it on the table and push down with your hand to form the rosette. Make sure you use strong adhesive to keep it together or better still a long pronged brad and a few circle punches either side. I used a sticky sheet, die cut with the circle #2 die(note to self -don't try to use a punch with this stuff it don't work!!) i used the 2nd smallest circle to hold it together on the back then a 1 3/8" card stock circle. I don't think its going anywhere now!!

Supplies Used
  • Card stock-Melon mambo, whisper white
  • Ink-Melon mambo,wisteria wonder,pool party,old olive
  • Stamp Sets-Delicate Doilies,Perfect words,Happiest birthday wishes(hostess)
  • DSP-Cheerful treat (hostess)
  • Accessories-In-Colour brads,sticky sheet,1 3/8" circle punch, 1" circle punch,simply scored tool, crop-o-dile,dazzling diamonds glitter,1/2" scallop dotted ribbon,big shot, circle die #2
