Milk Carton Tote



I saw this the other day and just had to make it. I'm so loving my milk carton die, and now it looks even awesome r in a tote.Thank you Kristy Brown for enabling me. Its also on page 33 on the 2010-2011 idea book and catalogue, i just change it up a bit. All items in the catalogue.

To make the tote

Cut card stock to 6" x 6" and score at 1 1/4" on all sides. cut score marks on one side of each corner to fold into make box. For the handle cut an A4  sheet of card stock at 3 3/8" , score half way and fold. score the bottom of both ends at 1 1/4" to make the stand. tape together and punch out the handle with the oval punch.
To assemble i added the milk cartons to mark out where to glue stand exactly. Then decorated the edge with the scallop trim border punch and added some ribbon.

    Owl post it note holder and matching bookmark

    Here is a matching set that  i made the other day. The inside of the book holds one pack of 100 post it notes.

    Instructions to make the holder 
    choc chip cardstock cut at 3 1/4" x 7" and scored at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2" fold with bone folder and add post it notes and decorate.

    Owl Book Marks

    How awesome is the owl punch!! Just love it!!Had a bit of a play around with it and the bird punch and you change the owl up a bit. The bird punch wing makes good owl wings, and the branch is good for him to perch up on.

    Choc Coin Monsters

    These cute little monsters are so fun and easy to make. I first came across these at expo last year at the Stampin' Up stall.

    To get the scallop circle into the shape for head you have to punch it out once then tape it to a piece of scrap paper and punch again in the middle of the scallop. And for the feet just cut the word window in half. Glue together and stamp mouth and doodle with the gel pen. see easy peasy.

    My first Workshop

    Ok it was so very last minute but on Wednesday  about 1pm i decided to jump right into it and host my very first workshop this sat arvo. Amazingly my family and friends were mostly available to attend, so fingers crossed it goes of well and i don't have a panic attack and die,lol.
    I'm using the stamp sets that i got in my starter kit, season of joy, flight of the butterfly and make a monster. Im so happy with these sets and had a lot of fun making the cards for the workshop. I also made a few samples and plan on making a few more later tonight. Here is the pics of the cards we will be making plus as there will be a few kids present  i designed a simple bookmark for them to make.
