Ornament Punch Flower

We made this flower Monday night @ Crafters Anonymous online class. It was made using the ornament punch, i used 28 punchies to make mine and designer series paper but you could use card stock too.

Scallop Square Rag Purse

I've been dying to have a go at making a rag quilt bag for ages and i finally got around to it on the weekend. I followed a tutorial on you tube by Angie Kennedy Juda AKA Chicnscratch, click  here to watch the video. It was fairly simple to make and i loved that you can cut the material on the big shot with the scallop square die. I am still to wash it and make it all raggy but couldn't wait to show it off.

Standing Up
Well the sewing Mojo was flowing i made another bag testing out my new quilting mat, rotary cutter & ruler set, its so much easier to cut in a straight line now, lol.

This was the first bag i made, so don't look to closely, lol the handles are crooked. I followed the instructions and sewed them in before the bag took shape instead of eye balling them afterwards. All well we live & learn :)

Crafters Anonymous Project from Last Night

Here is the project we made last night over at Crafters Anonymous. It can fold up to fit a business size envelope. I used a heaver cardboard as a backing on mine so it is quite sturdy and makes a nice display on my desk.
I used some of my Sale-a-bration freebies, designer series paper & ribbon with my new Beautiful butterflies die(thank you Kylie :) for my belated birthday prezzie)

Other supplies used are the beautiful wings embosslit die, dotted scallop ribbon punch, corner rounder, jewels, old olive ink, & stamps from Elements of style & Sense of time(retired)

So I'm a bit behind in posting this but earlier in the month my downliner Debra set us a challenge to get our creative juices flowing. The challenge was to use the following to make a card.
  1. Framelits Dies
  2. Apothecary Stamp Set
  3. In-colours 2012-2013
  4. Embossing
  5. Whisper white card stock, black staz on & bling also was allowed
As you can see we all made very different cards. Its a really great way to get some ideas flowing and I can't wait for the next challenge.
